PS Vita CFW Description

Description : HBL on PS Vita Firmware 1.52 has been confirmed to be working with Teck4′s exploit on PS Vita Official Firmware 1.52 according to respected PS3 Developer SKFU . This is good new for those of ya that were wondering how the HBL also known as Half-Byte Loader is running on the latest PS Vita Firmware .

Well PS3 Developer SKFU has reported that Wololo HBL which is being ported to PS Vita has been working pretty stable on PS Vita using Teck4′s exploit to run HBL through the PS Vita PSP Emulator . Even though it has been confirmed that HBL and Teck4′s exploit works still on the PS Vita , There has been no news about any Homebrew Loader to be release to the homebrew community for PS Vita Owners at this moment .

If any exploit or HBL will most likely be release sometime after Feb 22 once it the PS Vita goes on sell to the rest of the world . So until now , Keep a eye out and I will post any new updated information about HBL or any PS Vita Exploit being made available to the PS Vita Homebrew Community .

everything I research atm didn’t change from 1.50 to 1.52
If that is fine for you, there’s no reason not to update.

Anyways, I have to mention that this can change without a firmware upgrade!

If you are online with your PS VITA, it can download and install silent updates for any application which runs in usermode and has nothing to do with system critical modules.

The good is, those updates are removed once the system is restored to the current firmware, so it would not be a major problem to remove a fix.
