VHBL Vista HBL

VHBL is what the next PS Vita Homebrew Loader by Wololo will be called once it becomes available to the PS Vita homebrew community . This is well some good news for those users wondering what will the next PS Vita HBL will be called, Well not need to wonder no more as it has been confirm by Wololo that it will be called VHBL .

So we the name being released by developer himself , when will VHBL be released ? Well no news yet on the exact date, But the developer had stated that this VHBL will work with a commercial full Game that it seem not to been patch by Sony yet but might be patched once the game has been fully reveal, To that time, it seem Wololo will hold on of releasing the name of the game till atleast the PS Vita has been released globally .

This is what the developer had to say about the PS Vita HBL also known as VHBL

VHBL does not technically allow you to play any pirated PSP or Vita games.
Although VHBL is free and open source, the current version relies on a vulnerability in a specific PSP game that you need to buy from the PSN. VHBL comes with no guarantee, especially I cannot guarantee it will work on your Vita, so remember that you pay for a PSP game, and not for anything else. I do not do refunds for the money you gave to Sony :)

It is super easy for Sony to patch the vulnerabilities used by this tool, given the amount of control they have on the PS Vita. VHBL runs fine on firmware 1.52, but for all I know it is possible for Sony to patch the game’s vulnerability without a firmware update. So, once again, before buying the game and downloading VHBL, you need to understand that you pay for the game, and VHBL is a bonus that might or might not work

First of all, the easy ones: VHBL (that’s the super new cool name of HBL on the Vita, I’ll let you guess what the V means, I know, I’m super original) will not support loading PSP isos. Basically VHBL will have the same limitations and features as HBL on the PSP, and, last time I checked, running psp isos was not possible through HBL. The same HBL limitations apply to compatible homebrews. In a general way, user mode homebrews should work for the most part, while homebrews that require kernel access will not work. For now (but that could change), homebrews requiring network access might not work (or at least, the network part of them will not work). Like in the patapon exploit era, it is possible, depending on the success of VHBL, that we progressively increase compatibility if we (as a community) keep improving the HBL code in the weeks following the release. Oh, and I am talking about PSP homebrews, running in HBL within the PSP emulator. So, for now, don’t dream about a full speed N64 or psp2 emulator. What we’ll get are the PSP homebrews that you already know. Continue Reading More Here http://wololo.net/wagic/2012/02/03/vita-hbl-how-the-release-will-happen/
