After much anticipation I finally got to check out the upcoming Uncharted game on the Playstation Vita, find out how cool it really is and why you’ll want it too right now on Clevver Games. . Welcome back to our E3 2011 coverage I’m Andrea Rene here with a hands on look at the upcoming Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Clearly the flagship title for Vita, this game looks beautiful. If you are a fan of the series you know how fantastic the look of Uncharted is and the 5 inch OLED screen certainly does it justice. . The story is set before the Uncharted series but isn’t necessarily a prequel. Nathan Drake is back and is in another jungle looking for treasure, but as interesting as the story probably is, let’s take a look at the Vita functions and how they fit in with the Uncharted mechanics. The dual sticks simulate the movements you’ll get on the PS3′s dual shock controller and the buttons are mapped the same as well. . But instead of using buttons to jump in climb you can also utilize the touchscreen. By tapping vines you’ll grab them, by touching rocks you’ll climb, and there is a very cool function called Painting the Path that allows you to draw out where you want Nathan to climb. Makes those tricky wall climbs easier than ever, and you can couple that with the Accelerometer to give momentum in certain situations. . The feature I thought had the coolest fun factor? Virtual panoramic view with Camera Mode …
